Council’s Event Grants and Sponsorship Program provides support to events that foster economic, community and/or cultural development, and prioritise positive environmental outcomes.
The program is available to not-for-profit and commercial event organisers that hold an event in the Surf Coast Shire, and offers four event funding streams:

Council’s Events Policy should be read in conjunction with the guidelines.
Applications to the 2021/22 Event Grants round are now closed. Successful applicants will be announced following the May 2021 Council Meeting.
Note: The next funding round will be held in February 2022.

The Regional Community Events Fund supports small events in rural and regional communities across Victoria.
