Australian Indigenous Surfing Titles

Since 2012 this event has been held at the iconic surfing location, Bells Beach on Wadawurrung Country at the start of the world famous Great Ocean Road.

Surfing Victoria, will again be hosting the Australian Indigenous Surfing Titles presented by Victorian State Government, Rip Curl, Head Sox and Surf Coast Shire. The event competitive window will run from Friday 24th May to Sunday 26th May 2024.

The event will begin with a traditional welcome to country and smoking ceremony at DJARRAK (Bells Beach) on Friday morning at 8:00am with the event to begin at 9:00am.

The three day event will showcase the top 24 Indigenous open males, 24 open women, 16 masters men, 16 masters women, 8 over 50's, 8 open men longboarders, 8 open women longboarders, 8 junior males, 8 junior females and Elders Expression Session. From across Australia. The event will crown an Australian Indigenous Champion in all seven divisions.

Past champions featured at the event include Otis Carey (Coffs Harbour, NSW), Russel Molony (Shelly Beach, NSW), Summer Simon (Port Kembla, NSW) along with former masters champion Robbie Page (Kempsey, NSW).
