Surf Coast Arts Trail

Since its inception 12 years ago the Surf Coast Arts Trail has become a key feature on our events calendar, showcasing the creativity and talent of artists living and working in the Surf Coast Shire.

A bigger and better Arts Trail than ever is planned this year with art lovers once again able to visit artist studios and galleries in person. More than 200 artists and 60 venues will be offering a diverse range of art forms including painting, glassware, ceramics, jewellery, sculpture and textiles.

With Surf Coast Shire named as one of the top four creative hot spots in regional Australia, there’s a huge amount to see and explore. Artists are ready and eager to meet you and share their work, with bonus workshops and demonstrations on offer.

It’s time to experience the breadth of creativity across our shire, from artists who live by the coast to those who practice in the hamlets of our hinterland.

Surf Coast Shire Council Acknowledges the Wadawurrung People, and Gulidjan and Gadubanud Peoples of the Eastern Maar, their Elders and leaders past, present and emerging as the Traditional Owners of the skies, land, waters and sea country across our municipality. We acknowledge their care and custodianship for more than 60,000 years, which continues today. We walk with them as we respectfully care for and tread lightly on these lands. We also extend that respect to all First Nations people who are part of the community.
