Aireys Inlet Festival

The countdown is on for the 2024 Aireys Inlet Music Festival, returning with its most diverse line-up of musicians yet.

The festival is set to entertain crowds across a three-day event next weekend, showcasing a broad line-up and a range of styles including, blues, folk, country.

It will run from March 15 to March 17, taking place across six different venues around the town.

Matt Walker and Ashley Davies will headline this year’s festival, playing a rare show at sunset on the Saturday night.

Kylie Auldist will perform on the Friday night and Henry Wagons on Sunday, also headlining in what will be the festival’s 18th iteration.

Rising star Daniel Aaron will lead the local acts on the bill including Victoriana Gaye, Geelong’s Beans, Honk, Owlsey and many more.

This year will also feature the festival’s first international artist, Cambodian Space Project, who will bring their unique funky pop to the stage at the Aireys Pub Beer Garden.

Creative director Patrick Donovan said the festival has also lined up some special intimate performances outside of the pub in what is a whole town event.

“We have the Push FReeZA stage returning this year at the Great Ocean Road Mini Golf, which provides vital pathways for young bands from the region to have some live music experience.

“At the Great Ocean Road Gin Tasting Room we have one of the best young soul/RnB bands performing; they’re called The Steppers.”

Two bands will also play at the Sunnymead Hotel including Jungle Jim Smith and the Plastic Cheeses.

TAC will be on scene this year, providing free breath tests for those leaving the event on the Saturday afternoon.

Tickets are on sale now, with a whole weekend pass available for $60 or daily passes for $25.
